About building insurance

It is a condition of the lease that we, your landlord, take out buildings insurance to cover your flat and the building as a whole. Your annual service charge includes for the cost of building insurance.

Making a claim

If you suffer loss or damage and wish to make a claim, please as soon as practicably possible notify the Protector Insurance Claims Department on 0161 274 9077 or email claims@protectorinsurance.co.uk.

Claims must be notified within 7 days of the event in the case of damage caused by riot, civil commotion, labour disturbances or malicious persons.
