Fire Risk Assessments



Keeping you safe in your homes is our priority. To do this our Fire Safety Team carries out:

  • A regular Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) of each block of flats that we manage.
    • This is to identify the potential risks from fire at your building.
    • All the Fire Risk Assessments are performed by qualified assessors from Total Fire Group Ltd to help keep you safe.
    • A Fire Risk Assessment Action Plan is then produced with recommendations that will either remove or reduce the fire risk.
  • Fire safety inspections of each block of flats that we manage
    • These inspections are carried out by our Fire Safety Team in between the FRA inspections. We make sure that all blocks are assessed annually.
    • This is to identify the potential risks from fire at your building.
    • We also look at the fire doors in your block to make sure these are all fit for purpose and will perform as they should in the event of a fire.
    • Following the inspection, we produce a Fire Risk Assessment Action Plan with recommendations to either remove or reduce the fire risk.
  • Quarterly inspections at our high rise blocks
    • These are to continually monitor our progress against the recommendations made in the Fire Risk Assessment Action Plan and assess hazards in your block, and address these, on an ongoing basis in between the annual Fire Risk Assessments.
    • We also check the condition of flat front entrance doors and collect information about our customers for the fire service to use in the event of an emergency.
