Stay Gas Safe with your annual gas safety check

It's Gas Safety Week and we are raising awareness of our annual gas safety checks. These are essential to help keep you safe in your home by making sure that your appliances are working as they should be, and could support you to keep energy costs down as we move into autumn and winter, too.
It is a legal requirement that we carry out an annual gas safety check of all gas appliances in your home which are owned by FCHO and provided for your use. Our Gas Safe registered engineers from Sure Maintenance actually do this more frequently for our customers - every ten months – to make sure everything is running as safely and efficiently as possible
These checks by skilled and experienced gas engineers are vital to keep you and those around you safe in your home.
Gas appliances that have not properly been maintained can cause gas leaks, fires, explosions and carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. Carbon monoxide is known as the ‘silent killer’ because you can’t see, smell or taste it, and its affects can be fatal.
